The Details

Family Responsibility Leaves are only to be used when an employee needs to take time off to meet responsibilities related to:

  1. the care, health or education of a child in the employee's care, or
  2. the care or health of any other member of the employee's immediate family

When requested by the employee, Human Resources will consider an agreement to apply the Out of Office policy in place of the Family Responsibility Leave policy. Please review the “Out of Office Policy” for more information on working from home.
