FreshWorks is committed to supporting its employees with a work life balance. This policy provides employees with the information they need about their entitlement to paid days off on holidays proclaimed by the Federal and Provincial Government.
Each full time employee shall receive a paid day off on the following holidays and any other general holiday proclaimed by the Federal or Provincial Government
- New Year’s Day
- BC Family Day
- Labour Day
- BC Day
- Good Friday
- Thanksgiving Day
- Easter Monday
- Remembrance Day
- Victoria Day (Queen’s Birthday)
- Christmas Day
- Canada Day
- Boxing Day
All holiday dates can be found in Collage under “Time Off”, “Holidays”. If a holiday falls on a non-workday, then either the preceding Friday or the following Monday will be observed as the holiday. The date of all observed holidays will be marked in Collage as “OBV”.
Family Responsibility Leaves are only to be used when an employee needs to take time off to meet responsibilities related to:
- the care, health or education of a child in the employee's care, or
- the care or health of any other member of the employee's immediate family
When requested by the employee, Human Resources will consider an agreement to apply the Out of Office policy in place of the Family Responsibility Leave policy. Please review the “Out of Office Policy” for more information on working from home.
